about

LEADERS OF THE FREE WORLD [Side A] – Hefty stab chords and mysterious keyboards open this brooding afro-funk lament, all set at the tempo of a Trumpian swagger. 'Leaders of the Free World, where there is hunger don't feed us your slogans' opines the chorus before a Trombone wig-out slices through proceedings. It is a protest anthem for the millennial generation, destined for a sea of fist-in-the-air collective sing-alongs.

lyrics

Leaders of the Free World
Where there is anger, you cover your ears.
Leaders of the Free World
Exploit our difference and harness the fear
Leaders of the Free World
Where there is hunger, don't feed us your slogans.

Why do we tolerate this internet incarceration?
We close our eyes to everyone else's lives
We shout into our echo chambers.

Why do we tolerate this information racketeering?
We can't believe everyone word we read
It's the one percent electioneering

Leaders of the free world...

Why do we tolerate this twitterverse administration?
It's built on lies. You do nothing but fraternise
When we threatens to destroy whole nations.

Why do we tolerate this mutually assured destruction?
We can't abide push-button genocide
If the mad man gives the last instruction.

Leaders of the free world...
